Ultimate Healing Soup Recipe for Colds and Flu!

Stop a cold fast and warm up your soul with this healing soup recipe! 

Just like I explained in my last blog post about natural cold remedies, this was one of the ways I got rid of my cold so fast. I ate this healing soup a couple times a day!
 
It's extremely easy to make and prepare a big batch of so when your done you just keep it in the fridge and heat up on the stove whenever you want another bowl.

I would suggest having this soup all throughout the winter. These ingredients are full of vitamins, nutrients, and minerals your body needs to keep colds away and for optimal health. Here are some key super healing and cold killing ingredients...
 
Ginger: one of the worlds most medicinal spices says the Medical Medium. This will prevent colds and the flu.
 
Turmeric: This spice is anti-fungal, anti-bacterial, anti-microbial, and anti-aging. 
 
Butternut squash: Super nutritious with loads of anti-oxidants, and contains zinc which helps beat colds fast!

Ingredients:

  • 4 stalks of celery
  • 1 small bag of shredded organic carrots
  • 2 cups of organic vegetable broth
  • 1/2 yellow onion
  • 2 cups of butternut squash
  • 1/4 cup of parsley
  • 1 large organic sweet potatoe
  • 1/2 cup of arugula
  • 1/2 cup of kale
  • 2 tsp of ground ginger
  • 2 tsp of ground turmeric
  • 4 cloves of garlic
  • 1 tsp of pink Himalayan sea salt

Instructions: 

  1. Pour 2 cups of vegetable broth in a big pot on the stove with 1 cup of water. Bring this to a light boil.
  2. Chop up all ingredients into small chunks.
  3. Once boiling, dump all the ingredients in and let cook for 1 hour.
  4. ENJOY!
