Gut Healing & Delicious Organic Bone Broth Soup Recipe!

In case you didn’t know…pretty much all of America was frozen this past week. It was so bad that the weather reporters were actually using the phrase “Frozen America”. This probably isn’t news to most of you. I’m sure you were out there freezing your ass off in the below zero temperatures just like I was.

And here’s another fun fact about me…I FREAKING HATE being cold! Just ask my husband, I basically cry every time I have to step foot outside! Am I the only one?!

While I was trying to avoid turning into a popsicle by not taking my gigantic robe off for an entire week, I was inspired to make some healthy soup to warm me up! But this isn’t just any healthy soup. This is organic bone broth vegetable soup with quinoa. And I LOVE IT!

I love it so much in fact that I have literally been eating it every day for the past week. Seriously though, I’m not even exaggerating (which I am guilty of sometimes)! I make a massive batch so it lasts all week!

This gut healing organic bone broth recipe tastes amazing and is so good for you that you’re probably gonna want to stop whatever you’re doing right now and go grab the ingredients.

I am going to share my organic bone broth soup recipe with you in just a minute but I wanted to talk about some of the benefits first! This stuff is pretty amazing.

Organic Bone Broth Benefits

Below you will find a quick run down of some of the major benefits but you can read all the details in this article from Dr. Axe if you like.

1. Improves Gut Health

This is a pretty popular topic these days. That’s because it’s really freakin important, and an unhealthy gut can cause tons of problems in your body. Some examples are…

  • Depression
  • Weight Gaing
  • Food Allergies
  • Skin Conditions
  • Fibromyalgia
  • Asthma
  • Diabetes

I have struggled with acne most of my life so making organic bone broth soup is one thing I’m doing to improve the health of my skin. And these consistent efforts have definitely been helping.

There is tons of research out there that shows bone broth to help with these issues because it is easily digested and soothing to the digestive system.

2. Improves Joint Health

As we age, our joints experience lots of wear and tear and makes it harder for us to get around. This is caused by the break down of cartilage in the joints.

As your organic bone broth cooks it allows for the collagen to be absorbed by your body when consumed. This ultimately helps to restore the cartilage in your joints and reduce pain.

3. Promotes Skin Health

The collagen in the bone broth is also great for your skin! This wonderful stuff helps to maintain your skin’s youthful appearance!

Eat up your bone broth soup my friends so we can keep our skin healthy for years to come!

These are just a few of the benefits you can experience from adding organic bone broth to your diet on a consistent basis!

And one last thing before we get into the recipe…I know you’re wondering where to buy bone broth! It is a little hard to track down sometimes but you can actually buy organic bone broth at the grocery store. I was able to find it at a Walmart near my house!

The brand I buy actually comes frozen. Here’s a link to the Bonafide website.

Now that you know why organic bone broth needs to be your new best friend, here’s the recipe for the soup I will be eating every day for the rest of my life probably!
