3 Ways to Use Lavender Oil for Better Sleep!

Good Sleep in Super Important!

We know deep down that sleep is so incredibly important for our health, yet this generation seems to run off of barely any sleep. This might be from working so much, stress, or overthinking not letting us get sound sleep. Healthy sleep helps with weight loss, fatigue, and improves digestion. If you are looking for natural ways to help you relax and sleep better, you are in the right place!

"Lavender has been suggested as an excellent natural remedy to treat insomnia and improve the sleep quality." https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3612440/

Lavender has been a natural way to help people sleep better for years. Here are 3 ways to use to help you get a good night rest!

Sheet Spray: Here is what you need...
  • Glass spray bottle
  • 1 oz filtered water
  • 1 oz witch hazel
  • 20 drops of lavender
- Combine ingredients into glass bottle and spray on pillow cases and sheets before bed!

Lavender roller: Here is what you need...
  • 10 ml roller bottle
  • 20 drops of lavender
  • Carrier oil (I use organic fractionated coconut oil)
  • mini Funnel
- Combine all ingredients in roller bottle. You can rub on your feet, wrists, or behind your ears before bed!

Bed diffuser:
  • Diffuser
  • 6-10 drops of lavender essential oils
- Fill your diffuser with filtered water and put about 6-10 drops of lavender in the water. I like to turn mine on a little bit before falling asleep and keep my diffuser on my bed stand.

I choose to get all of my essentials oils from Young Living. I've researched and they have the most potent and highest quality oils available! If you are looking for a high quality lavender to use, you can find it here in the Young Living starter kit!

Lots of love!
