Homemade Healthy French Fries...Even Better Than McDonald's!

Fries are like one of my most favorite things in the world. I LOVEEEE anything that has to do with a potato. Anyone else?

McDonald’s was a staple of my upbringing and I continued that all the way to college.

I don’t want to give up fries! So, I just made a healthier beneficial version of them! Healthy swaps for the unhealthy foods I LOVED was the biggest game changer in my health and fitness journey!

Ingredients in McDonald's Fries

Potatoes, Vegetable Oil (Canola Oil, Corn Oil, Soybean Oil, Hydrogenated Soybean Oil, Natural Beef Flavor (this is plan old disgusting🤢) [Wheat and Milk Derivatives]*), Dextrose, Sodium Acid Pyrophosphate (Maintain Color), Salt. *Natural beef flavor contains hydrolyzed wheat and hydrolyzed milk as starting ingredients.

I don’t even know where to begin 🙈 Canola oil is 90% genetically modified. It is absolutely TERRIBLE for your health. It causes life threatening heart issues, causes kidney and liver problems, high blood pressure, can stunt growth in infants, super toxic to the body and very inflammatory, feeds diseases and bacteria, and is harmful to our mind.

Natural beef flavor? I don’t even want to go there lol

Ingredients in My Homemade Healthy French Fries

Organic potatos, coconut oil, organic garlic, and pink Himalayan sea salt! THAT'S IT!

Coconut oil: extremely beneficial to your health! 🥥 Coconut oil increases fat burning (HELL YAS!) it kills harmful substances in your body, it reduces hunger, protects hair skin and teeth, boosts brain function, helps you lose fat, especially around the abdominal area.

Homemade Fries Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350
  • Cut potatoes into fries
  • Spray sheet pan with coconut oil spray
  • Place potatoes on sheet pan
  • Drizzle 2 tsp of coconut oil on top of fries (literally HALF of the fat in McDonalds fries!)
  • Sprinkle garlic and Himalayan salt on top
  • Bake until desired crispiness!🍟

P.S.-potatoes don’t make you fat! Someone told me this devilish lie. One of my clients eats potatoes every day and lost 30 pounds in 2 months… I don’t think they make you fat🤔
