Healthy Summer Cookout Recipes are Clutch!

I don't know about you but pasta salad was always a main course at my family cookouts when I was growing up! I would fill my plate with that stuff and then go back 2 or 3 more times.
Since I am all about finding healthier versions of the things I love, I found a delicious healthy pasta salad recipe for summer cookouts!
This is a delicious side dish that the whole family will love! It is dairy free and gluten free but you'd never know it because it is packed full of nutrients and bursting with flavor!
So keep an open mind here and give this one a shot! I promise you won't be disappointed. Your family won't even know it's a healthy summer side dish because they'll love it so much!

  • 1 box of chick pea pasta
  • 2 cups of spinach
  • 1 avocado
  • 1 1/2 cups of strawberries
  • 1/3 cup of vegan feta cheese
  • 3 tablespoons of poppy seed dressing


  1. Cook pasta according to instructions on the box.
  2. While that cooking, chop strawberries, avocado, cheese, and spinach.
  3. When pasta is done cooking let it cool then mix all ingredients together.
  4. That's it and that's all!
Like I always say, there's no reason to be on some restrictive diet that creates anxiety or stops you from going places with your friends and family. I've learned that by making healthier versions of all the unhealthy food I love, I will never have to feel restricted!
I'm never on a diet, but just choose more holistic options and this is what I teach my clients as well. Nobody that has gone through my Holistic Health Freedom Academy has ever been told to go on a diet.
