Who Loves Taco Salad!!!.....MEEEEE!

Taco salad is one of my ultimate favorites! Are you with me on this?
It really stinks that this delicious meal is usually super unhealthy and packed with processed ingredients.
But don't worry because I found some healthy and super beneficial ingredients to replace those bad guys so we can all enjoy some healthy taco salad!
That's what it's all about girl, and the amazing women in my Holistic Health Freedom Academy love that they can still enjoy the foods they crave by learning how to create healthy options.
Now before we dive into the recipe, I just wanted to quickly highlight the a few of the amazing ingredients...
  • Beans are packed with antioxidants, they help with immune function, and are especially helpful for those struggling with constipation and bloating.
  • Cilantro is helpful in regulating blood sugar which helps aid in weight loss. This is also a great herb to help support the adrenals which is a common problem with women that live busy and stressful lives.
  • Red onions help purify the digestive tract and reduce bloating and constipation. When eaten raw (like in this salad) they provide the most benefits. They are also loaded with antioxidants and help strengthen your immune system!
Now that you see that each ingredient has a purpose and is beneficial to your body in a beautiful way. This recipe is packed with a variety of nutrients that will aid in your goals of weight loss, gaining your natural energy back, and eliminating digestive issues!

  • 1/2 cup organic black beans
  • 1 chopped tomato
  • 1/4 cup chopped red onion
  • 1/2 lime
  • 1/2 avocaodo
  • 1 cup romaine (or any leafy green)
  • 1/3 cup bell peppers
  • 1/4 cup Cilantro
  • dash of pink Himalayan sea salt


  1. Chop up romaine, tomato, red onion, avocado, cilantro and bell peppers into small pieces and put into a bowl.
  2. Drain beans and add 1/2 cup into the bowl.
  3. Squeeze 1/2 a lime over the ingredients and add pink salt or whatever other seasonings or dressing you would like!
  4. ENJOY! This is a great recipe for meal prepping!
Believe me when I tell you that having a handful of easy healthy recipes to fall back on is CRUCIAL to your success! Whether your goal is to lose weight, reduce bloating, have more energy, or just be healthier...I can't stress how important this is!
