"Eating Healthy is Too Expensive"...True of False?

I’ve heard it more times than I can count! And to be honest, I used to say it all the time. But I’m going to put this out there right now…IT WAS JUST AN EXCUSE!

Are YOU not eating healthy because you feel like it’s too expensive?

Get Your Priorities Straight!

It took me so long to eat healthy on consistent basis because I was always telling myself “this is too expensive”! The cost wasn’t really the problem though. Instead of spending the money on healthy food, it was going towards booze, Chinese take-out, and clothes I didn't need. The real problem was that I didn’t make the decision in my mind to make the simple lifestyle changes that would benefit my health!

So, I continued to eat like shit, feel like shit, and let my health and wellness keep deteriorating. All because I chose to spend money on designer purses, flashy clothes, and partying over fueling my body with healthy holistic foods!

Unfortunately, I am STILL paying the price of putting my body through such hell for all that time! I am doing everything I can to heal from all the crap I put myself through years ago.

And guess what…it’s costing me even more money now to get these health issues resolved that I probably wouldn’t be dealing with if I had made some better choices.

My Decision to Change!

The good news it, I eventually made the decision that I didn’t want to feel like crap anymore! I had to change my priorities and take better care of this one body I was given! Once I MADE THE DECISION to be healthy and fuel my body with better quality food, I immediately started feeling better and my life was changed forever!

I became addicted to feeling GOOD! A huge problem that so many people deal with (my old self included) is the fact that they have been feeling bad for so long that they don’t even know what it’s like to FEEL GOOD!

They think feeling sluggish, tired, bloated, irritable, and like crap on a daily basis is normal...IT'S NOT!

  • YOU deserve to feel energetic!
  • YOU deserve to feel focused and clear!
  • YOU deserve to be in a good mood!
  • YOU deserve to not feel bloated for a change!
  • YOU deserve to reach your goals and feel confident!

I promise that if you get a taste of this feeling you will never want to go back and you'll realize how important of an investment healthy food is in your life!

My Tips for Buying Great Quality Food at Good Prices!

To get you headed in the right direction, I wanted to give you a few quick tips for buying healthy food without breaking the bank!

Since I’m such a bargain shopper, I found ways to buy healthy organic food for less so here’s what I do…

  1. Mainly shop at Aldi’s, Walmart, and Trader Joe’s. Each of them have organic food that is WAYYY less than Giant Eagle and Whole Foods. And if you know what you’re looking for you can find pretty much everything you need.
  2. Buy cheaper organic food on Thrive Market. It’s the greatest thing EVER! It’s like an online Sam’s Club or Costco, except for natural organic food. You can get a discount if you use my link to sign up...Thrive Market.
  3. Whole Foods cafe and salad bar section is where it’s at! I got a huge salad for 10 bucks and it made me 4 meals! You can get great meals with protein & two sides for 8 bucks and they will last you 2 full meals! You just gotta have a little will power to take half of it home with you since it tastes so good ;).
