Have you ever been told...bananas will make you fat?

Seriously, I have had so many people tell me over the years to stay away from fruit and more specifically bananas because they will cause you to gain weight and store fat!

This myth needs to DIE! It’s just NOT true!

I’m just going to be honest, it makes me angry when I hear that this amazing food that God put on our planet isn’t good for us! Now if you have a certain medical condition, such as diabetes, then I understand you may have certain restrictions. But other than that, you should not be afraid to eat bananas unless you want to miss out of tons of health benefits!

I may be a little excessive but I eat 3-4 bananas every day and I have actually lost a couple pounds this month. The amount of bananas we go through in house house is ridiculous! And I know a few of my clients are also eating multiple bananas every day and see amazing results. Point proven!

Bananas are delicious, packed with vitamins & minerals, and EAT UP!

And if you’re thinking to yourself…”I eat bananas and I have been gaining weight!” I am willing to bet that it's not caused by the bananas. I challenge you to take a closer look at everything else you are eating and drinking throughout a normal day.

  • Are you eating processed foods?
  • Sugars that aren’t from fruit? Artificial sweeteners?
  • Junk food? Fried food?
  • Not eating enough?
  • Eating too much of the wrong things?
  • Eating things that the TV commercials and Instagram trick you into thinking are healthy?

It’s easy to blame bananas or other fruit for unwanted weight gain because people claim that the sugar in fruit is bad for you. We sometimes "forget" about the whole container of ice cream or box of cookies we ate that are also packed with sugar and tons of fat! All the fake sugar and other additives make these things hard to stop eating which are the REAL culprits for weight gain and excess fat in most cases.
