5 Healthy Habits with Massive Impact That You Aren't Doing!

Diets are confusing, right?

Well eating healthy and living a healthy holistic lifestyle is actually very simple. The hardest part is navigating through all the crap that you hear on TV and social media!
If you're feeling overwhelmed by all of the different things that you have heard over the years, I want you to know you're not alone! I still feel like that sometimes, we just have to take a step back and get back to the basics.
So instead of giving you a long list of things you need to cut out of your lifestyle, I want to share a handful of things that I bet you're not doing enough of!
And don't worry...these are VERY SIMPLE things that you can start doing today. Alone, none of these little things are life changing but the key is that all these little healthy lifestyle changes that you implement compound and create massive impact!
So let's dive into this. Here are 5 things you probably aren't doing enough of in your health and fitness journey...

1. Drinking Enough Water!

This sounds so simple, but most women aren't drinking even close to enough water. The easiest way to make sure you're drinking enough is to get a 20+ oz. bottle and keep it with you through out the day. Make sure you're drinking at least 4 or 5 full bottles during the day! More if you can.
I also hear alot that "I don't like drinking plain water." No worries, you don't have to! My favorite thing to do is add fruit to my water to give it some flavor! Any citrus fruit is great!

2. Moving Your Body!

Have you ever been told you have to do 60+ minute intense workouts 6 days a week to see results? Well it's a LIE!!!
Since most women believe this lie, they think it's too hard or they're too busy then get overwhelmed and don't do anything at all.
Our bodies are made to move and they want to move! You don't have to commit to some insane workout program but you should commit to moving your body for about 30 minutes a day.
Even if that's a few walks or some stretching through out the day! If you are consistent with moving your body, you will see results. Remember...KEEP IT SIMPLE!

3. Eating Fruit!

Simple, yet so many people have fruit fear because of the media today. Fruit was something I didn't implement into my nutrition at all when my health was at it's worst because I was told that the sugar would make me gain weight!
So crazy when I think about that because now about 50% of what I eat is fruit and my health is thriving. I love having simple snacks such as bananas, apples, or dates! If you have fruit fear, here is an article I suggest reading from the Medical Medium.
Eating more fruit is only going to do one thing and that's improve your health!

4. Drinking Tea!

Herbs have been known to improve health for thousands of years. They are AMAZING gifts from God!
Drinking herbal teas is an easy way we can get these magical herbs in! Not to mention it's going to help you drink more water if you need some flavor!

5. Having a Grateful Practice!

My clients tell me constantly that this is what made the biggest difference in their health and wellness journey and what sets my coaching apart from all the other diets and programs out there.
This takes 2 minutes out of your day to journal what you are grateful for, but many people don't practice this. Studies have shown that having a grateful practice improves health and promotes positive mindset and mood.
An easy grateful practice to start with is keeping a journal on your night stand. In the morning write down what you are grateful for and before bed write down what you are grateful for. Taking this 2 minutes out of your day can do wonders for your mental, physical, and spiritual health.
So I hope this helps! I know how confusing and frustrating it can be because you're being overwhelmed with so much information that you don't even know where to start. Trust me I've been there many times.
