I remember it like it was yesterday, and maybe it's exactly what you are struggling with now...
My stomach being rock hard constantly (not in a good way), the uncomfortable bloat was out of control. I was only going to the bathroom a couple times a week and when I finally did, tears would be running down my face because of how painful it was.
I thought bloating was normal. I didn't even think twice about going to the bathroom only a couple times a week until my husband said "I don't think that's normal Britt." But this wasn't the only health issue I had. I was struggling with chronic fatigue, eczema, acne, and inflammation.
I decided to get educated, healed myself, and now have been helping other women take their health back by saying bye to the bloat and constipation!

L: Limit or Avoid

There are foods that reek havoc on our digestive systems (and overall health). The main 2 culprits are dairy & gluten (and others like artificial sweeteners etc.).
Don't be scared...I promise these are EASILY replaced with healthier options! You won’t even MISS those foods because the healthier options taste even better in a lot of cases!

A: Add

There are foods we need to add into our nutrition in abundance to give our guts the nourishment it needs to thrive!

  • apples
  • leafy greens
  • bananas
  • papayas
  • dates

S: Stress Reduction

You can literally feel it in your stomach when you are stressed. Ya know, those butterflies or you feel a “gut punch”.
We have to be PROACTIVE about stress reduction, because honestly chronic stress is one of the main causes of a ton of health issues.
Think; what is it that helps you to reduce stress? Here are some great stress reducers that I suggest to my clients...
  • Being in nature
  • Stretching/yoga
  • Deep breathing
  • Coloring/painting
  • Reading
  • Dancing
  • Exercise
  • Journaling

H: Habits

I’m talking about your eating habits. Not WHAT you eat but HOW you eat.
Do you shovel food in your mouth as fast as you can? I know I am guilty of this sometimes. This can cause a ton of bloating and will be hard for your body to digest because you’re not fully chewing your food.
Eating habits to be intentional with for better digestion:
  • Chew your food greatly.
  • Eat slowly.
  • Focus on eating rather than trying to multitask.
  • Notice all the colors and textures on your plate (helps you to slow down and become aware while eating.
Doing these things will give your digestive system the loving and rest it needs.✨
