How to Make Monday the Best Day of the Week!

Monday often gets a bad rep because most people are getting back to work, school, and the normal daily grind! I know you'd probably like stay in bed and then relax the rest of the day but it's time to get back to real life my friend.
To avoid setting yourself up for failure right at the start of the week, I want you to try a few things that will change how you think about Mondays.

Instead of dreading it and focusing on the fact that you have to go back to work or do something you don't want to do, I want to help you think of Monday as an opportunity to start your week strong! Take advantage of the fresh start and be a lady boss!
So here are a couple of things that I want you to focus on this upcoming Monday morning.

Stop Saying You HATE Mondays!

Telling yourself that you hate Mondays is just setting yourself up for failure right off the bat. You are making your mind believe that you actually hate Monday and that you're going to have a bad day. Monday never did anything to hurt you!
When this happens, you get discouraged and this very important first day might set the tone for the rest of the week. So you can't start off bad talking Monday girl!
Think of this as a new opportunity to work toward your goals. A fresh start to leave a few stressful things behind you. The day that is going to get you rolling on some new healthy habits!
For your Monday motivation, try waking up and saying "I LOVE Mondays! It's the best day of the week and I am going to make this a powerful start to my week!"
I'm telling you it works even though it sounds silly. My clients do these little mindset practices all the time and it's what helps them get closer to reaching their goals each and every day.
Next on the list for Monday motivation tactics...

Get a Badass Workout In!

Make sure to set aside just 15-30 minutes on Monday to get your body moving and get your sweat on. If you're able to wake up just a little bit early to get it done then I STRONGLY suggest that because you will feel so amazing and confident to start your week!
Even if you can't do it first thing in the morning, MAKE SURE you get that Monday workout in at lunch time or after work. It is so incredibly important to get the ball rolling for the week!
Go check out the Workouts page for some awesome examples that you can do right at home in 30 minutes or less!
And the third and final Monday motivation tactic is...

Start Your Week With a Breakfast Loaded With Nutrients!

I know Monday mornings are probably super rushed for you but this is another thing that is really going to determine the type of week you may have ahead of you.
Pleasssseeee don't just grab a pop tart before you run out the door! Or even worse, not eat anything at all! You are going to start your week off feeling like crap and have no energy.
Wake up just 10 minutes early to leave some time to make a delicious smoothie and you can even add a little plant based protein powder to it if you like! Here's a tasty recipe you can try.
Even though these are very simple things, when you ACTUALLY DO THEM you will realize how much of a difference they have on your Monday motivation and the rest of the week! It's huge!
I stress simple lifestyle changes and mindset practices like this to my clients every day. Because it's these very small things that will make or break you in the long run. I'm telling you from first hand experience in my own life!
Because I didn't see long term results for my health and well being until I started doing these little things and that's why I preach them so hard because I know they are the difference maker!
And these types of things are the difference maker for my clients as well.
