15 Minute Ab & Butt Workout!

Just wanted to drop a quick workout for ya to keep that body moving this week! I chose a quick 15 minute AB and BUTT workout because that's two of our favorite body parts to work...right ladies?

I know your with me on that one! That's why I put together the best quick HIIT workout for burning fat in your midsection and butt that I could think of!

Before we get to the workout I want to give you a few quick suggestions so you can get the most out of this ab and butt workout.

Workout Tips...

It's easy to just follow along to a workout and go through the motions! But guess what...this isn't going to do you much good. Sure you're getting your body moving which is good, but you could get so much more out of this workout if you focus on a few simple things.

  1. Make that mind-muscle connection to the muscles you are trying to work. Abs and butt in this case. Really squeeze those muscle through each rep and embrace that burn girl!
  2. Go "low and slow" as I like to say! This just means to use the full range of motion and make sure you are sticking to slow and controlled movements. That's how you really get those muscles into overdrive and burn the most calories.
  3. With all that being said...you're safety is the most important thing. Only you know your body and your limits. Pay attention to those limits and respect the fact that you may not be able to do everything perfectly, especially at the beginning. Modify or skip certain exercises if need be to avoid injury!

Alright, now let's get to the fun stuff shall we!

15 Minute Ab and Butt HIIT Workout!

In case you're not familiar with HIIT style workouts, here's a little crash course. It's basically short periods of super intense work followed by short periods of active rest. This is repeated for multiple exercises and rounds.

For this workout we will keep things simple and do a 1 to 1 ratio meaning 30 seconds of intense work followed by 30 seconds of active rest. The active rest period will be you just dancing it out and having fun! That's what I do for my own HIIT workouts and it makes the workout so much more fun and enjoyable than just walking in place or something boring like that!
